Scott Brody is an educator and thought leader in the areas of 21st Century Learning, Workforce Development and Child Development. He is the Founder of Everwood Day Camp and the Owner and Director of Camps Kenwood & Evergreen, one of America’s premier residential camp programs. Scott is also a strategic partner of IDEAS Education in Beijing, China. Scott is the National Board Chair of the American Camp Association and serves as an Executive Board member of the Partnership for 21st Century Learning in Washington, DC, and as a Board Member of the Foundation for Jewish Camp in NY, NY as well as other state and local boards. Scott has represented the camp profession in Washington, DC, for the last two years and has led presentations for the US Congress on the ways in which learning experiences like summer camp promote college and career readiness.
Sarah is passionate about creating supportive and high performing work environments. Since earning a degree in Psychology from Edinburgh University in her native Scotland, Sarah has lived, worked and traveled in five continents and brings experience in the corporate, non-profit and educational sectors. With over 16 years of experience in a range of logistical and management roles, including 14 years involved in the world of summer camps, she believes that fostering a culture where employees are valued and empowered is paramount for the wellbeing of the workforce and the success of any organization. She directs operations for Camps Kenwood & Evergreen, serves on ACA’s Project Real Job committee and created e21.
Sean is a first-class honors graduate of Edge Hill University in the UK where he studied Sport and Exercise Psychology. Sean began working as a counselor at Camps Kenwood and Evergreen and has now been a full-time member of the team there since 2015, focusing on implementing training and development programs. Sean has worked with e21 for three years, helping to create content and best practices.
Josh is an honors graduate of University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom, where he studied Sports Coaching. Josh joined Kenwood and Evergreen as a counselor in 2012 and went on to become a member of Kenwood & Evergreen's year round team. Having experienced our program firsthand as a participant, Josh now assists in the coordination of e21 at several camps across the US.
Ruby is Kenwood and Evergreen’s Office Manager and has worked for K&E since the summer of 2016. Ruby grew up in Woodbridge, VA and attended the University of Virginia where she studied Chemical Engineering and Materials Science. Ruby’s talent for research, passion for analytical thought and attention to detail are extremely valuable as she supports e21’s program administration.
